Transparent touch keyboard and mouse

The world of peripheral devices has not undergone any radical revolutionary changes for a long time, after the invention of the wireless keyboard and mouse. All innovations revolve around them, which is why only the price of devices grows, and nothing really changes. Designer and engineer Jason Giddings decided to correct the omission by making the mouse and keyboard transparent and touch sensitive.

Now you don't have to worry about spilled coffee or crumbs stuck in it, as the invented keyboard is smooth and glassy. Traditional touch panels of capacitive or resistive type are not used here. Instead of these now commonplace sensors, new peripheral devices are built on a simpler solution - infrared emitters and optical sensors, or in a simpler way - cameras. The platform will itself determine the place of touch, as a result of which the key will be "pressed".

In the same way, Jason Giddings transformed the mouse, after which it became similar to the touchpad familiar to users. It is hard to imagine whether it will work comfortably on these devices.

At the moment, Jason is collecting investments for his project. Judging by this - the serial production of touch keyboards and mice is not far off.
