  2. Pour the mixture into an enamel saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally and skimming.
  3. Pour the juice into pre-sterilized jars and roll up.

A big "plus" of tomatoes is that they do not lose their beneficial properties when boiled. Only the variations in flavor vary depending on the recipe.

Under the influence of steam in a juicer, tasty, rich and, most importantly, healthy tomato juice is obtained.

How to cook tomato juice in a juicer

  • Pour up to four liters of water into the reservoir (lower pot) and bring to a boil. The three-layer capsule bottom of the juicer distributes heat quickly and evenly.
  • Place a container of juice over a container of boiling water, then a mesh glass with chopped tomatoes. You can add salt to your taste.
  • Cover with a lid.
  • Make sure that the drain tube is covered with a clip or clothespin. The liquid will evaporate from the tomatoes and accumulate in the saucepan.
  • After 45 minutes, when the drink has warmed up to 75 ° C, drain it through a drain pipe into sterilized jars and roll it up. Stir the tomatoes occasionally to "squeeze" more juice out of them.

Cooking tomato juice in a juicer is not difficult: you do not need to strain and collect scale. At a time, it allows you to get 3-5 liters of drink.

After cooking, tomatoes accumulate more lycopene than raw fruits. This substance is a powerful antioxidant that prevents the development of cancer and diseases of the cardiovascular system.

Tomato juice for the winter through a juicer

First, send the tomatoes to the oven to bake. Baked tomatoes provide more juice and less cake. They can be loaded into the juicer without the risk of clogging the appliance chute.

  • Spread the fruits on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Set the oven temperature to 180 ° C and place the tomatoes in the cooking space for 10 minutes.
  • When they are baked (oh, what a flavor!), Pass them through a juicer.

The auger juicer has a slower spin speed than a centrifugal one - on average, 45 rpm. The juice is squeezed out using a screw shaft, the pulp of the fruit is carefully crushed and grinded, the cake is dry. During the slow spin, almost no foam is released, so the drink retains a homogeneous consistency and rich taste longer.

After scrolling the juice, pour it into a saucepan and cook for 30 minutes.

  • Add spices and minced garlic.
  • Stir until the salt and sugar dissolve.
  • Pour the prepared mixture hot into sterilized jars and roll up.

Spicy tomato juice recipe

It turns out like pickled.

(for 1 liter)

- Garlic - 3 cloves

- Cinnamon - a pinch

- Vegetable oil - 1 tsp.

-Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.

- Salt - 1 tsp.

- Cloves - 2 pieces

- Nutmeg - a pinch

- Bitter red pepper (if you like it sharper) - 1 pod

- Peppercorns - 5 pieces

Tomato juice without juicer

  • Cut ripe tomatoes into wedges and place in a saucepan.
  • Remember them to let the juice go.
  • Boil over low heat.
  • Rub the mixture through a sieve to separate the seeds and skins.
  • Boil the juice for 20-30 minutes until the foam disappears.
  • Season to taste. My version: salt - 1 tsp, allspice - 3 peas, bay leaf - 2 pcs.
  • Preserve hot.

Seal the jars with lacquered lids. Tin cans darken from the inside, because there is a lot of acid in the tomato. Turn the preservation upside down - this way you check its tightness.

Tomato juice for the winter through a meat grinder

To get a liter of juice, you need 1.5 kg of tomatoes.

  • Twist the tomatoes through a meat grinder, strain the mixture.
  • Cook the tomato over low heat for 20 minutes, pre-salt and pepper.
  • Fill sterile jars with a hot blank, screw it up.

With a good grinder, you will kill two birds with one stone:

  • The high motor power (from 1600 W) allows you to quickly process a large number of products. Only one nozzle for tomatoes and berries is worth something! Twist the fruit bucket for a few minutes.
  • Many interchangeable discs and attachments will practically turn the device into a universal combine. Just remember to wipe them dry after washing. Better yet, lubricate dry parts with vegetable oil. Otherwise they will rust.

Tomato juice in a slow cooker

Put the cut tomatoes in a juicer, if it is not there, then pass the tomatoes through a meat grinder, and then wipe the resulting mass through a sieve. The fragrant juice is ready, all that remains is to make it suitable for storage. Pour the juice into an enamel pot, put it on the fire and boil the juice for 20 minutes.

Blanch the tomatoes to peel them off:

  • pour boiling water over
  • dip in cold water
  • peel the fruit.

Now you can make tomato juice in a blender. It will come out with seeds, but without cake. If you want a smooth drink, strain it.

How much to cook tomato juice

Optimally, 25-30 minutes. During this time, the drink is boiled down and saturated with spices. A sure sign that the juice has cooked is the lack of foam.

  • Pour the hot drink into clean cans and roll up with metal lids.

Even if you did not have time to wash and sterilize the cans, and the drink is already ready, do not worry. The smart appliance turns on auto-heating immediately after the end of the cooking program. The juice will stay hot for a long time. Conserve it when you're done with your business.
