More recently, monitors were produced by a small number of companies, but this is all in the past, at the moment, a huge number of unfamiliar labels are read on LCD panels. In this case, we are interested in the monitor of a completely new manufacturer, Envision, a division of the well-known company Gigabyte Technology.
Envision does not have a lot of monitor models, only three directions: gaming, stylish and home. Well, since we decided that we need to separate style and speed, so all three lines are separated from each other. For example, the G2219 we will look at is a gaming model with a 22-inch diagonal and a 5ms response time.

A DVI cable is included, but a VGA cable is not included, which makes the monitor stand out in its specialization for gaming computers with discrete graphics cards. Well, the D-Sub port is quite useful for frequent use in laptops.
The aesthetic data of the monitor does not stand out with some kind of complexity: the usual design of the case made of gray plastic and a shiny stand. Perhaps the stand stands out a little against the background of the gray body, reflecting the light with its brilliance, but this gives a kind of charm to the whole look of the monitor. The stand has only one adjustment range - vertical tilt. It is impossible to adjust the monitor like a seat in a luxury car in different planes, there are simply no such adjustments. The manufacturer's calculation in this matter is simple, the game line does not need such adjustments. For the convenience of transporting the monitor to LAN Party, an elementary dismantling of the stand is provided.

For convenience, cables can be brought out from both sides (left, right), since the connectors are very conveniently located and suggest such a layout. The layout has the following scheme: a power connector on one side and two D-Sub, DVI connectors on the other side. Unfortunately, it is impossible to remove all cables from the view, it is simply not provided for in the design. This nuance makes it possible to place the monitor directly on the wall using a flat suspension.
At the bottom of the case on the front side there are six buttons with which you can adjust the monitor. The control is carried out quite adequately: the response of the buttons when pressed is palpable to understand that the button has worked, and casual accidental presses will not work. All buttons are labeled with a raised relief, which is hardly visible, so it is better to remember their location when using it "blindly".
OSD menu in Russian. Although the menu items are similar in all LCD monitors, the Envision G2219 has a function that allows you to select a portion of the screen to enhance the picture. You can use this feature by dividing the screen into two parts, where the difference will be better seen. When changing the quality of the picture, do not forget that the palette of colors will also change, which may be interesting for a movie or game.
The second special functionality of the monitor is that you can choose the brightness and contrast from the presets for different configurations. Example: You switch from a game to a movie and you do not need to manually change the parameters, you just need to set the presets.
Impressions of use
Everyone knows that monitors with TN-matrix have a big flaw - it's a small vertical angle. If you watch, for example, a movie, sitting comfortably on the couch, the screen remains above the eyes and the viewing angle becomes a topical issue. Let us pay considerable attention to this issue. The horizontal viewing angle corresponds to the characteristic, that is, you can rotate the screen until the visible area collapses into a vertical strip, you cannot make out anything on it, but the picture quality does not change.
The vertical angle is mainly on all modern monitors with a TN matrix, Envision G2219 saves the picture in any position at eye level, placing the screen higher, your gaze will catch the distortion of the picture. Therefore, the vertical assumes adjustment with a view of 120-140 degrees.
The monitor has a screen backlight. Small flaws in the horizontal edges and the top do not spoil the overall illumination impression. In general, backlighting is an excellent solution for games.
The monitor is designed to work on the Internet, for games, for watching movies, and every time you work with pleasure, using it. And the presets for a different set of functions and capabilities are an excellent feature. Playing in the gloomy design of the game, the screen gives lively and colorful pictures. Watching a movie or surfing the Internet, you enjoy the quality of the image.
