There are small holes on the right and left sides of the player, in one of which a microphone is hidden, and in the second there is a Reset button. Below is a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a slot for microSDHC memory cards and a miniUSB port, which is designed to connect to a computer to transfer data and charge the battery. The slot for memory cards and the miniUSB port are covered with a flap. This is at least a little, but protects against dust and dirt. Above are the on / off key for the device and the lock slider. Nothing new, everything is standard and easy to use.

Memory

Control
Most of iriver's previous players used conventional mechanical keys for control. IN Iriver E200 decided to go to touch keys. They are located on the front panel under the screen. There are four buttons for navigation, two more are responsible for adjusting the volume, and in the middle there is an OK button. In the settings, you can select a function that activates vibration to confirm pressing. Just like in touchscreen phones.
The touch layer is of a capacitive type, so the keys only respond to the touch of a finger. In principle, no one will use the stylus for control, but in winter you will have to take off your gloves to press the button. On the other hand, if you put an unlocked player in your pocket, the keys will not be pressed by your clothes. And the capacitive type of the keyboard serves longer than the resistive one.
Display
The rather large dimensions of the player are due to the size of the 2.8-inch display. Its resolution is standard for many devices - 240x320 pixels. It will be convenient to watch movies or just a video, but before watching it, you should convert it to optimal parameters using the Movie Converter program on the disc that comes with the device. It is quite easy to use and has hints for optimal conversion. Experienced users can also use other converters, the main thing is to select the necessary resolution, bit rate and other parameters. It is possible to view the video in full screen mode.
In addition to video, the player allows you to view images, photos and read e-books, which is very convenient on a display of this size.
Menu
Menu Iriver E200 standard, in many ways it resembles the menu of other players. Each item is responsible for a specific function - playing music, watching videos, viewing images (photos, pictures and other graphic files), turning on the radio, reading e-books, playing games, etc.The player normally displays folders, so you can sort songs according to any principle convenient for the user. If the songs have tags, then automatic sorting by albums, artists, titles, etc. is possible.
The font size is large, the characters are clearly visible. For variety, you can choose one of 3 preset themes. They differ mainly in color.
Games

Unfortunately, you cannot play games and listen to music at the same time, after all, this is a player, not a smartphone with the ability to run several applications at the same time. Music
The player reproduces sound in good quality and with good volume. You can use not only 16 Ohm headphones, but also 32 Ohms, which transmit a wider frequency range. You can also listen to music using the built-in speakers. Their power is not high, but the playback quality is quite good. There is an equalizer with preset settings. It opens during playback by long pressing the right "arrow".
You can also listen to the radio through headphones and external speakers. Since the built-in antenna IriverE200 does not, its function is performed by headphones. Just like most phones.
The player also has a built-in voice recorder. It is certainly not worth recording music with it, but it is quite enough for voice recording. Enabling and managing it is pretty straightforward.
When connected to a computer, no additional software or driver installation is required. The player's memory and memory card are displayed separately, like ordinary USB drives. Thanks to the USB 2.0 version, moving and copying files is quite fast.
