Choosing an on-board computer

Most modern cars are equipped with on-board computers from the assembly line, because such software and hardware systems provide:

  • collection of data from various automotive sensors;
  • analysis of the measurements taken;
  • displaying information on the state of the vehicle systems on the screen;
  • issuing the necessary recommendations to the driver.
  • Thanks to the use of the on-board computer, the driver can promptly identify malfunctions in the operation of vehicle components, and, accordingly, carry out repair operations in time to eliminate the identified problems. As a result, you will be able to save on expensive diagnostics at the service station, and due to the timely identification and elimination of problems, the operational resource of your vehicle will significantly extend.

    The on-board computer of a car is capable of performing many different useful functions, including:

  • accurate determination of engine temperature;
  • engine speed control;

    This on-board computer is intended for installation on tenth generation VAZ cars. In addition to the main functions (fuel consumption, overboard temperature, engine speed, etc.) Multitronics Comfort X11 also has such useful functions as:

  • measurement of acceleration time up to 100 km / h;
  • installation of a sound warning about exceeding a certain speed by the car (it is possible to set the border from 40 to 200 km / h);
  • measuring the maximum speed of movement at the last kilometer;
  • setting the limit of the sound warning, which informs the driver about engine speed exceeding (2500-8000 rpm);
  • installation and viewing of the remaining mileage before the next replacement of the air filter, candles and timing belt (from 0 to 99 thousand km), etc.
  • This on-board computer has an identification code that protects you from the use of this device by unauthorized persons. A feature of Multitronics Comfort X11 is that it is able to speak out after a period of time from five to sixty seconds the value of the parameter you have chosen at the moment, and this will allow you to control any emergency parameter without being distracted from the road.

    Today, there are on-board computers designed to be installed on a specific car model. An example of such a device is Serg Electronics Ssang Yong Rexton.

    Serg Electronics Ssang Yong Rexton has only basic basic parameters, namely: measure the engine speed, determine the average speed, measure the distance traveled, etc.
