This laptop is a representative of the new K series from Asus. In addition to this, this series also includes the compact K40 and the large-format K70. This same model is positioned by the manufacturer as a universal device with a multimedia bias.
Design
The laptop case stands out with rounded edges and shiny surfaces made using Infusion technology. Unlike ordinary glossy plastic, such a surface is less dirty and much better resistant to scratches. The 16x9 aspect ratio display is great for watching videos. The large operating panel allows you to comfortably position your wrists when using the keyboard. It boasts an additional digital block, but for the sake of it it was necessary to sacrifice the ergonomics of the arrow block. The touchpad is slightly recessed into the surface of the case. Its touchpad has a grainy texture. Silver large buttons quickly become covered with prints, but there are no complaints about their work. The left side contains two USBs and a drive tray. On the right side there are two more USB, audio connectors, a network connector and an analog video output. There is no digital HDMI.
In work
This model has three main hardware modifications. The most affordable IJ is equipped with a chipset with an integrated video adapter from Intel. The more advanced IN is built on NVidia logic with more powerful graphics. Both are equipped with processors manufactured by Intel. The third AB modification is completely built on components from AMD ATI. The highlight of the K50AV modification is the ability to switch integrated and discrete video on the fly. At maximum load, the laptop worked for less than an hour - such is the price to pay for a powerful video adapter. During the operation of the laptop, there were no critical complaints about its work.
