JiaYu G3 comes in a clear plastic container wrapped in a thin white cardboard cover. The sturdy design of the package allows you not to worry about the safety of the integrity of the goods when they are sent by mail. The package contains information about the smartphone - model name, company name, official website address and brief technical information presented in hieroglyphs.
In addition to the smartphone itself, the container contains a charger, a battery, a wired stereo headset, a microUSB cable, instructions and a warranty. A protective film is glued on the smartphone screen.
Design
The dimensions of the JiaYu G3 are 135x65x10.8 mm. The device weighs 131 grams.
A thick and weighty smartphone resembles a brick in its shape and looks most organically in a man's hand. Such a device will not fit in every pocket.
The main body is made of matte black plastic. The front panel and side edges are made of glossy plastic. The display is covered with protective glass, and there are two metal inserts at the top and bottom of the display.
The body of the smartphone is very easily soiled, fingerprints appear on it quickly. The glossy plastic of the side panels is slippery, so the smartphone can be easily dropped from your hands.
JiaYu G3 is produced in three body colors: black, gray and silver.

Connectors and controls
At the top of the front panel of the JiaYu G3, there are light and proximity sensors, a front camera, an earpiece and a status indicator light that notifies you of missed events by flashing blue, red or green.

The JiaYu G3 is powered by the MediaTek MTK6577 processor, which consists of two ARM Cortex-A9 cores with a clock speed of 1 GHz. The volume of the device's RAM is 1 gigabyte. The device is equipped with a graphics core PowerVR SGX531 Ultra.
The internal memory of the device is 4 gigabytes. It can be increased by using a microSD memory card with a capacity of up to 32 gigabytes.
Thanks to the powerful hardware platform, the smartphone interface works quickly, without slowdowns, the device can play 720p video without hitch. In addition, the device is capable of running most power-hungry games like Dead Trigger and N.O.V.A. 3 without any problems.
Battery
The JiaYu G3 is equipped with a 2,750 milliampere-hour battery. In moderate use mode, the smartphone can work on a single battery charge for 3 days.
In continuous reading mode with automatic brightness control, the device can work without recharging for 17 hours. In continuous 1080p video playback, the battery will run out in 4.5 hours. The smartphone will work for about 4 hours in game mode. In continuous talk mode, the device will work on a single battery charge for 12 hours.
Communications and interfaces
JiaYu G3 has support for two SIM cards, one of which can work with 3G networks. In the smartphone settings, the user assigns a preferred mobile card from which SMS and MMS messages will be sent and calls will be made. If you do not assign any cards, then each time you call (send a message) you will need to make a choice between cards.

JiaYu G3 runs on Android 4.0.4 (ICS). To date, the firmware version 4.1.2 has already been released. The device works practically on "bare" Android.
The lock screen displays the time, date, day of the week. To unlock the screen, you need to pull the circle located at the bottom of the display with your finger to the right on the image of the lock. Drag the circle to the left to open the camera interface.
After unlocking the screen, a desktop will open in front of the user, on which you can put application shortcuts and widgets. At the top of the desktop there is a status bar, which displays missed calls, received messages, battery power, signal strength of mobile networks and Wi-Fi, active wireless modules and wired connections (headphones, microUSB cable), recent downloads, notifications, notifications , application updates.
A notification panel is pulled out of the service line. On it you can learn more about updates, downloads, missed calls, received messages and notifications. In addition, the notification panel contains icons for quick settings (turning on wireless modules, activating sound modes, etc.).

JiaYu G3 has a bunch of useless Chinese apps: QQ Messenger, UC Browser and Chinese keyboard.
The standard music player allows you to sort songs by specific parameters (genres, artists, and so on). During music playback, the screen displays the song title, album name, track length, remaining playing time, album art. You can customize the sound using a set of preset equalizer presets.
The device has an FM radio that only works with headphones connected. The application supports automatic station search, RDS signal recognition, audio recording, channel listing.
The built-in video player plays a small number of formats, so it is recommended to install a third-party application to watch movies and videos.
You can view, compose and send emails using the pre-installed email clients Email and Gmail.
The smartphone, of course, also has standard applications such as a calendar, voice recorder, calculator and the like.
A user of JiaYu G3 can download any other applications for his smartphone from the official Play Store, which has many paid and free programs and games.
