One fact that I learned while testing Lego Indiana Jones may cause you anxiety. Although, on the other hand, the same fact can give you hope. This is going beyond the target market that Lego Star Wars was targeting. Indiana Jones is aimed at a wider category of users, and not for school-age children who would deeply give a damn about who Indiana Jones really is. For them, it's the same game, only with a different face. But there is good news as well. By changing the orientation, the game provides an opportunity for adults and children to play together.
Little gamers are unlikely to be able to appreciate the authenticity of the story, which consists of scenes from all three parts of the famous film, shot a very long time ago. But for adults it will be interesting to play and compare events.
We already know that the game contains scenes from the film “Indiana Jones. In Search of the Lost Ark ”, where the famous archaeologist will have to face many cunning traps and rolling stone balls. In short, the developers of the game have not deprived of their close attention to any film, which is pleasantly pleasing.
Naturally, in addition to the old man Indiana, there are also other characters in the game that you, if you wish, can play with. It is nice to even take control of the villains here: the Ape Man, who loves to poison his opponents, or the Designer Woman, who is as fatal as Alsace Schneider.
The scenarios are simply wonderful, which increases the pleasure and desire to quickly expel the Nazis from the ancient ruins and prevent them from seizing the Holy Grail.
How to play it?
Without the Force, which was the deciding factor in solving the puzzles, the new Lego game just got better and more fun. Now, basically, the solutions to some puzzles are enclosed in a variety of boxes, which you must take in your plastic hands and move until the door opens. Other puzzles can be solved by throwing bananas in the direction of the jungle. After a sufficient number of throws, grateful monkeys will come out of the forest and help you to restore the bridge or quickly rebuild the ruins of an ancient temple. Our smaller brothers are still reasonable.
Each character is "armed" with a shovel, which is a valuable item in the inventory. You can dig for hidden treasures or accidentally dig a hole and find firearms there (naturally with limited ammo).
The graphics look amazing. And for this we need to say "thanks" to the developers who made the right calculation for the increased performance of PCs and consoles. Special thanks to the experienced team of artists. The background in the game does not resemble rubble of rough blocks of textures, but more like a three-dimensional drawing.
Animations and videos are filled to the brim with the kind sparkling humor that we all love. Considering that this game from the series is focused not only on children, then from time to time a not particularly cruel, but still black humor slips through.

Your kids may not know who this crazy guy with a whip and a hat on one side is, but they will love the bright levels and funny characters. You may be overwhelmed with nostalgia, or you may spend a lot of time getting to know the controls, but it will be worth it.
