The procedure for connecting the printer to the system is not at all complicated. It takes less than five minutes. First, you need to select a connection method for the printer after installing it. There are two such options: connecting via USB and using a wireless interface (802.11). The latter option will only work with a Wi-Fi card installed in the printer.
The printer carriage has two slots for the cartridges. This will allow you to choose the color of the print. The Deskjet 460 comes with a black cartridge # 131 (11 ml) and a color cartridge # 135 (7 ml). Also, the color cartridge No. 135 can be replaced with a more capacious No. 134 (14 ml), or with a photo cartridge No. 138 (13 ml). They can be purchased additionally.
