Sennheiser PX 100-II White - one of the most popular on-ear headphones from the German company Sennheiser, which characterizes itself on the market as a portable mid-budget model with fairly high declared characteristics.
Packaging
The headphones are packaged quite modestly - in a plastic blister. The packaging does not contain anything conspicuous. Well, except that only information that they are very compact and portable.
The package itself opens quite easily, without any special efforts.. Inside there are only the headphones themselves folded and a case. The cover is made of a fairly high quality, from some kind of rough fabric, there are strings. And it is comfortable to wear, and, despite the fact that the case is white, I would not say that it gets too dirty.
You can see my photo below, headphones with a case have been in use for more than 8 months, the case has never been washed)) Despite the fact that it was actively used.
Design, Construction, Operation
In general, these headphones look pretty good, the white color seemed to me more elegant, so I took it.
Plastic predominates in the design of the headphones, the headband bow and hinges are made of metal, which actually allow us to fold the headphones. By the way, yes, this folding design is an innovation in the world of headphones. It was patented by Sennheiser because it is very effective. I will say this, the same headphones Koss porta pro more of these headphones when folded.
Folding the headphones is simple enough. The person who picks up the headphones will fold them quickly for the 5th time. The folding design of the earbuds is made quite secure and sturdy. I have been using the headphones regularly since April 2011, and there is no backlash on the hinges (as in any other details).
The headband is suitable for any person, because it has a fairly wide range of adjustment.
The hinged cups of the headphones do not fit very tightly to the ear, but this does not affect the fixation, it is quite good. When worn for a long time, your ears will not get tired, thanks to the low weight of the headphones and soft foam ear cushions, which, by the way, can be replaced if necessary (sold separately). There is also a pair of ear cushions on the headband for a more comfortable fit. On my own, I’ll say that when you wear these headphones, you don’t feel at all that you are wearing anything, it’s very nice!
The left earphone can be distinguished from the right one by the cable extending from it, and the corresponding letters L and R are printed on the plastic on the top of the headband.
The cable in the headphones is very high quality, sealed with Kevlar, which significantly extends its service life; also in the cold, it does not crack, thanks to the use of high-quality materials. The length of the cable is quite enough for using the headphones as portable (for example, carrying a player / phone in your pocket).

Sound
Listening to music with these headphones is just a lot of fun. One of my acquaintances, a professional musician (works abroad), having listened to several tracks, said: "The sound is simply divine" !!!
Yes, bass here, frankly, is a little lacking. But this does not in any way affect the general perception of sound, tk. all this is compensated by sufficiently high-quality and clear mid and high frequencies.
I listened to these headphones in Nokia 5230, Nokia 5310 Xpress Music, iPhone 3g.
On the iPhone, the sound seemed to me the highest quality, although it was not that much different from the same ones.
When listening to music, there is sometimes a slight lack of bass, but that's no big deal. Electronic music, rock, rap, classical, pop music in these headphones sound just perfect. For fans of hard metal, bass may not be enough;) Although, who knows)
Frankly, starting to use these headphones, I immediately began to hear in the songs that I listened to a thousand times, something new, small details, which was very pleasing. With these headphones, I clearly hear the difference in bitrates of 128 and 320, so now I prefer to download tracks in a bitrate of at least 256kbps :))
Outcome
These headphones are fully consistent with the price / quality characteristic. The average price on the Ukrainian market is ~ 450-500 UAH. F.ua'e, as it turned out, has the lowest price, although it fluctuates sometimes)
The headphones sound gorgeous, the design is very reliable, no complaints have appeared on them for 8 months of operation. I listened to other competing models: Koss Porta Pro, Sennheiser PX 200, Sennheiser HD 419, but I liked this particular model the most. I use so much time, even go in for sports in them, how much I fell with them, and they have an ideal state. And still perfectly white :))
Who is thinking about choosing headphones in this price category, I definitely advise you to take these!
