The genre of football simulators has generously presented a considerable number of projects to the delight of fans for many years. And not only for fans of personal computers, but also for owners of home consoles.

It's hard to predict what prompted EA after several years of almost complete disregard of the wishes of gamers to make significant changes to the PC version of the next part FIFA... But the following is important: for the first time in several years, the rivalry between FIFASoccer and PES not spared personal computers. Which, naturally, gave even more interest in the confrontation.

I'll make a reservation right away: PC version FIFA still a little worse than the console project - let's take, for example, a new feature PersonalityPlus, which did not find room in the computer version. Still, even in this case, the next brainchild of EA looks, I confess, unexpectedly good.

The most important and important thing that has changed is the system of passing and movement of players around the field. And now I'll tell you in more detail.

In the new part of the game, players began to move around the field more realistically - they ask for a pass, open up in comfortable positions, and insure their teammates. In general, we can say that they are trying in every possible way to pretend to be real football players. The developers did a good job. They brought to mind pathfinding, and also made it possible to customize tactics to your own taste. Sliders (as in ProEvolutionSoccer), with which you can set many parameters for all positions of the team (back, middle and front lines), not only allow the player to customize the game to his style and tactics, but also increase the set of tricks during the match at higher difficulty levels or with a living rival. The quick settings also remained in place, which allow you to quickly rebuild the team's play during the match. In this way, FIFA finally began to play on the opponent's field - what the series was famous for beforeProEvolutionSoccer, now the main competitor is starting to use it in full force.

Also, the developers have significantly changed the pass system. Now the transfer to the move is a rather serious danger for the enemy. By controlling the ball, you can find vulnerabilities in the opponent's defense, so the ball should be treasured here. But with blows and overhangs, however, not everything is so smooth ...

The level of artificial intelligence has also grown. Now the computer opponent does not hesitate to play a short pass, stretching your defense, skillfully uses passes to move to your partner, and works competently with the body.

I was also pleased with the graphics. Of course, with a strong desire, you can find flaws (well, for example, the faces of the characters and the lawn) or resent the optimization of the game (sometimes freezes), but we can close our eyes to this. By and large, there are no special complaints about the soundtrack either: as always, a high-quality soundtrack, good English commentators, fans' songs at the stadium during matches. In general, everything is done at the level.

But there are also disadvantages in the game (where can we do without them): too much attention is paid to transfers per move, which become almost a cheating technique; problems with the power of the pass also remained (giving the pass to the distant player is a very difficult task), there is a stereotype of strikes (little variety), indistinct acceleration; a number of other small mistakes ... I will add here, perhaps, the obligatory presence of a joystick, since every year it becomes more difficult to play on the keyboard, and the key settings in their own way, which are now in a separate menu, along with the use of various techniques and feints, can cause newbie nervous breakdown.

But the pluses of the game far outweigh the minuses. FIFA11, unlike the previous parts, allows you to enjoy football in all its forms. So, we are waiting for a response from a competitor.Let's see what he can answer EA.
