What to do if the phone does not pick up the network?
The first thing to check is the signal indicator on your phone. If it shows a low level, then you need to go to a more open place. If the signal is still bad or even worse, the network is not caught at all, then you need to understand the problem.
Faulty SIM card
Often the problem lies in the SIM card, which is responsible for communicating with the network. Items tend to deteriorate and SIM cards are no exception. Especially if the card is often moved from phone to phone. This can damage the contacts. In this case, the phone simply cannot register on the network.
If the problem is with the SIM card, then it is easy to diagnose. Take another card and insert it into the phone.

Faulty phone
If the problem is not with the SIM card, then the problem is with the phone itself. Again, the reasons here can be divided into two categories - software and hardware. In the first case, a failure in network reception could occur due to the fact that the firmware was inaccurately updated.As for the hardware reasons, in most cases the problem is in the antenna. Perhaps the loop that connects it to the phone board has come off. You can try to fix such a malfunction yourself. Other possible reasons include:
- the power amplifier of the signal transmitter is out of order;
- the radio path has become unusable;
- moisture in the phone;
