How to correctly install (expose, connect) a refrigerator (built-in), where and where to put (place) a refrigerator in the kitchen

Want your refrigerator to last as long as possible? Follow the 7 simple rules for installing and connecting the unit.

Correct installation of the refrigerator

To install your refrigerator, always remember:

  • leave a gap (at least 10 cm) between the unit body and the wall so that the system does not overheat;
  • do not place the household appliance near a radiator, gas stove or oven. The optimal distance between them is at least 50 cm;
  • check the serviceability of the outlet and electrical wiring, which must be grounded;
  • install a stabilizer so that the refrigerator does not burn out from a power surge;
  • unscrew the front legs a little so that the unit tilts back slightly by 1-2 degrees - so its door will close to the end;
  • set the refrigerator strictly in level to avoid skewing, which causes noise during operation;
  • do not install the unit on a balcony or near a window, as the body of the unit overheats under the influence of the sun in hot weather.

Before you install the built-in refrigerator yourself in the kitchen, follow the same rules above. Be sure to fix the device with the fasteners that are included in the kit.
