The printer prints with a black background because it is not in contact with the cartridge. Do not rush to carry the device to the workshop. This problem is easy to fix yourself.
Remove the cartridge from the instrument and inspect the left side platform. There are two contacts here - the bottom one and the top one. The lower one goes to the magnetic shaft, the upper one goes to the charge roller. It’s just the top one that jokes more often.
- Both contacts are spring-loaded, but sometimes they fall into their seats. Feel them with your fingers or a screwdriver.
- Unbend. Contacts snap off easily. They should protrude slightly.
- Put the cartridge back in the machine and try printing. To make a test page without connecting to a computer, open and close the printer cover 5 times. When copying, you get a striped sheet.
Now it's order. Power is supplied to the cartridge, the image is focused and projected onto the sheet.
