I'm tired of "dancing" with a bucket and a rag, I bought a steam mop. The first feeling when washing the floors is that you don't have to put on weight to wash off the dirt. The steam mop is weighted at the brush! I drive it back and forth without effort, it steams off under its own weight, and the microfiber fabric absorbs dirt! Microfiber fastening with Velcro - no clips. For some models, it is tightened with a cord along the contour of the nozzle. It is convenient: the rag holds on tightly, does not fall off. After washing, all that remains is to wash it.
Microfiber (3 pieces included) can withstand more than 100 washes in a washing machine at a temperature of 60 degrees. With one rag I clean the clubs, the second I wash the floor, the third - for glass and tiles. During operation, the unit makes moderate noise, does not irritate. But the steam is really hot - it's better to keep your hands!
On the question: "Can laminate flooring be washed with a steam mop?" I wash. My mop has an adjustable steam volume. This makes it easier to select the appropriate mode: parquet / laminate - tile / vinyl - stone / marble. Before cleaning the floor, you should go with a vacuum cleaner, because the mop does not collect dust and debris. If they are not removed, stains remain on the floor. Clean - it shines like polished. You can't do that with an ordinary mop.

How to choose a steam mop
Before deciding which mop to choose, there are 8 parameters to consider.
A good unit has:
- power 1300-1600 W... Turned on and after 30 seconds the mop is ready to work;
- cleaning sole with hinges. It has a 180 degree turn. Comfortable to wash under sofas, tables and cabinets;
- built-in water filtration system. It protects the steam brush from scale, the mop will last longer;
- water tank up to 500 ml. Larger makes the device heavier. Very small limits continuous operation. I checked: 350 ml containers are enough for only 17 minutes of work;
- removable reservoir - mega convenient. If there is not enough water, you do not have to turn off the mop and wait until it cools down to pour more. We disconnected the tank, filled it with water - and go ahead and continue cleaning;
- steam volume adjustment. The hot flow is regulated - which is good. Especially when you have to generate tiles, linoleum, carpets and windows overnight. I wash the glass units with the spray nozzle. A jet of steam splits the dirt, but I just have to go with a scraper from top to bottom and wipe the glass with a dry rag. The corner joints are clean, and the acrylic window sill in the kitchen shines like fresh from the factory;
- a long cord eliminates the need to move from outlet to outlet. And no extension cord is needed.
- the more attachments, the more versatile the range of works:
- the hob, sink, oven, microwave oven and extractor hood are washed with jet. Immediately after processing, I wipe them with a soft cloth. The result is better than using detergents. And you don't need to rub. The only way I clean the pots that have swum with fat;
- scraper for glass and mirrors does not leave streaks. It's convenient to use - it fits comfortably in the hand. Walked over the mirror, then wiped it with a paper towel, and order;
- brush with a removable frame - for cleaning carpets;
- flat brush designed for cleaning floor tiles;
- The fabric nozzle makes it easier to steam clothes, curtains and drapes directly on the windows. I also use it to clean the upholstery of sofas. The husband managed to clean the car seats and even the headlights and discs with her.
