For small kitchens, a telescopic hood is more than enough. My capacity is 750 cubic meters per hour, and the kitchen area is 5.5 m², - it pulls out perfectly. Every day we cook something, steamed, fried. The hood copes with all this. Even when the window was painted, I did not disappoint, the smell of paint quickly disappeared. Two charcoal filters purify the air 100%, and a metal grease filter protects the internal elements of the appliance.
We bought it a year ago. We are not overjoyed. It fits into the kitchen cabinet and does not protrude beyond the hanging furniture line. The feeling of bulkiness does not create. The area of the pull-out panel overlaps the slab. And it works simply:
- pulled out the panel - it worked,
- not needed - pushed in.
The switches do not need to be flipped every time. The backlight is cold. When it's dark, two halogen bulbs shine well instead of the main light. We always have breakfast in this kind of lighting, and it’s okay: the light “does not hurt” the eyes, the plate is visible.
The hood has three ventilation speeds. The first and the second are more often used. Moderately noisy:
- barely audible at minimum speed;
- louder on medium, but cleans the air faster;
- in Turbo mode, it growls like a beast. But the child comes out in a matter of minutes.

Which hood is better inclined or telescopic?
A telescopic hood works no worse than an inclined hood. It has a suction zone all over the surface. For the opponent, depending on the inclined segment. It looks stylish but cumbersome. And clearly designed for a large kitchen.
The telescopic modification is more convenient in practice. Super-small, short, "fits" into the kitchen set. At the same time, its compactness does not affect power. Pulls perceptibly.
But with regard to leaving, it is easier to wash an inclined one. In terms of - you will have to crawl under it less. Although this is a subjective opinion. For telescopic models and for inclined models, removable grilles that are attached with a latch. They are washed in different ways:
- using detergents,
- steam cleaner,
- in the dishwasher,
- or boiled in a soda solution.
