At the bottom of the player there is a proprietary 30-pin connector for connecting to a computer and all sorts of accessories (docking stations, speakers, etc.), a 3.5 mm jack for connecting headphones and a speaker. Then everything is standard: on the front panel there is only one control key "Home" and a magnificent 3.5-inch Retina display.

The company said that the player can work 40 hours in music listening mode, 7 hours when watching a video, but to discharge it in 3-4 hours, you need to play games, which are even a dime a dozen in the AppStore. The fact that Wi-Fi is turned on when the player is running in the background has very little effect on the battery charge. Memory There are players on sale with the following amount of memory: 8, 32 or 64 GB. The optimal, I think, option is 32 GB, because 8 GB may not be enough for music, video, photos and applications, and 64 GB may not be completely filled, except for storing many films and series. Camera There are two of them: rear and front for FaceTime communication. The rear resolution is 0.7 megapixels. Of course, you shouldn't expect works of art from her, but in some life situations it will come in handy, and Apple did not give any guarantees that the camera would amaze us with quality, as, for example, in the iPhone 4. But the video shooting here is good - the video is shot in HD quality with a resolution of 1280 × 720, frequency - 30 frames per second, sound - 64 Kbps. The sound quality is decent thanks to the high-quality microphone.The camera interface is very simple, simple to such an extent that a person who has never held Apple technology in his hands will easily understand everything and will be able to use it without any problems. Shooting is carried out both in landscape and portrait orientation - it is more convenient for someone. The button in the upper right corner is always visible, which is responsible for activating the front camera. At the bottom there is a large button with a picture of a camera, which, when pressed, takes a photo. To the left of it there is an icon on which the last captured frame is located, by clicking on which you can go to the album. In order to close a previously launched application, you need to hold your finger on the icon, after which the icons will begin to "fluctuate" and the so-called "brick" icon will appear in the upper left corner of the icon, by clicking on which you can terminate the application. A very nice feature that has appeared in the new firmware is the ability to create folders. This is incredibly convenient when, for example, you need to place applications for the Internet, business in a separate place, or you want your games (there are a lot of them and it is inconvenient to search for them) to be placed in separate folders, which would be subscribed by genre. Let's get down to business: in order to create a folder for iPod Touch 4G, you need to hold your finger on the application icon for a few seconds, after which the icon will begin to "wobble" - this indicates that the icon can be moved to another place, or moved to another icon, after this procedure a folder will be created, you can name it, insert new applications into it. It is a little upsetting that you cannot create subfolders - this is a small minus, since up to 16 icons can be placed in a folder. But still the function of creating folders is very convenient and necessary. The bottom line of the player's applications, which will be available on each of the iPod tables, will also be convenient.
