NEW YEAR'S DECOR IDEAS - how to decorate a room for the New Year with LED garlands for home

Idea number 1: "Star Hall"

Hang ribbons with lights along walls or around the perimeter of the ceiling. They will look especially impressive with a stretch ceiling with a glossy surface. The backlight will create bright colored highlights, completely transforming the room. Also decorate doorways and arches with rain or fringes. For a more cozy atmosphere, use pastel-colored lights (white, yellow, pink, blue).

Idea number 2: "Magic mirror"

The lights of the New Year's garland on the frames of paintings and mirrors look great. In the twilight, they create a bizarre play of reflections of light and shadows, casting colored highlights on the walls.

A one-color LED garland can be entangled with lush tinsel - then the lights will mysteriously flicker in silver or colored sparkles. Don't worry about fire: LED string lights can last up to 100 hours in a row without overheating.

Idea number 3: "New Year's panel"

With the help of a green garland, "draw" a Christmas tree on the wall, with the help of a white garland - a snow-covered house, blue write the year and congratulations. Add Christmas decorations (balls or other figurines). They will make the wall "image" more voluminous.

To hang the garland beautifully on the wall, use transparent tape or safety pins.

Idea number 4: "Drops of light under the ice"

If you have a glass table, attach an LED string underneath the table top. Now place the champagne glasses - and voila, you can't take your eyes off! The glare "playing" on crystal glasses looks fantastic.

In the center of the table, you can put a wreath of tinsel and coniferous twigs, intertwining it with a garland with small multi-colored lights. Such a composition in the center of the table will add special coziness and warmth to the festive dinner.

Idea number 5: "Chairs of Santa Claus"

Wrap the legs of the chairs with colorful string garlands. In the dark, light structures will look very unusual. Each chair will acquire individuality, and your family and friends will begin to argue about who wants to sit on which - blue, yellow, green, white ... It will be fun!

Idea number 6: "Magic lamps"

Since LED bulbs are not very hot, they can be used to fill clear vases, aquariums and decorative bottles. A ball of flashing lights, reflected in the curves of the glass in colorful shades, looks extremely attractive and perfectly replaces the "standard" light. Wonderful lamps can be placed on the table, bedside tables and shelves in combination with figurines and candles. Come up with your own New Year's composition by unexpectedly combining a variety of things. New Year is a holiday when everything is possible!

Idea number 7: "Basket of light"

Satin knitting or satin threads with glue (wallpaper or PVA) and wind them around inflated balloons. Sprinkle glitter or other decoration on the threads and let dry. Decorate with small items so that the threads do not deform.

When the glue is dry, deflate the balls and remove. You will get elegant balls-baskets. Place an LED string in them and hang them from the ceiling above the festive table, along the walls and on the door.

Dynamic light effects are possible in garlands equipped with a light mode controller. With its help, you can set different modes of winking or "running" the lights on the garland. The controller looks like a small box on the wires of the garland.

The following ideas are about how to decorate a window for the New Year.

Idea number 8: "Window to a fairy tale"

Stretch the garland or curtain around the edge of the window, tape it to the cornice and near the windowsill. Hang small snowflakes and other figures on thin strings or shiny rain from the cornice at different heights.Such a window will unmistakably tell your friends where the most unusual New Year in their lives awaits!

Idea number 9: "New Year's miracle"

You can make the window simpler, but the festive effect will not diminish. Sew a garland with small bulbs in large stitches to the curtain. Threads should match the fabric. Choose any color of the garland: cold shades (blue, blue) or saturated (red, green) are suitable. Place the silver tinsel on the curtain rod, hanging it around the edges and tying the curtains with it to form wavy folds. Place red and white decorative candles or ordinary candles in elegant candlesticks on the windowsill. Complete the composition with small silver or golden Christmas tree balls.

Idea # 10: "Back to the Future"

Another good idea is to decorate the window in a retro style. Use garlands with large lanterns in the form of flowers or balls. Disguise the electrical wiring cord with satin tape, wrapping it neatly over the wires. Attach the garland to the eaves in a wave-like fashion, and let its ends fall to the floor: this will create a note of casual chic. Place decorative lamps and flowerpots on the windowsill.

Idea number 11: "A fairy tale comes from childhood"

The charm of the jewelry of our childhood, too, has not been canceled. Take paper, scissors and sit down with the whole family to cut snowflakes. Glue them to the glass and make "snow streaks" between them with toothpaste. (Too busy people can buy ready-made snowflakes stickers, but this is not that!) Place garlands in the form of silhouettes, for example, a deer and a garland-branch, on the windowsill; complement the composition with figurines. Place some spruce twigs, tinsel, or cotton wool. Children, now Santa Claus will definitely fly into your window!
