Design

Lenovo laptop has a black matte texture and a very discreet design. This is manifested primarily in the fact that the body is angular and made of plastic in a strict style. Secondly, its design is devoid of originality. The only thing that can be considered decorative elements of Lenovo B575 is the company's corporate logo and a slightly noticeable texture on the lid. Inside the laptop, the design is similar and carries a shade of minimalism: rough plastic in the area of the keyboard unit, texture on the wrist rest. I am pleased with the build quality of the device.

The dimensions of the tested laptop are equal to 37.8x3.4x25.4 cm.With a battery, it weighs 2420 g.

Sound and ddisplay

Lenovo B575 is equipped with a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The image is clear, the brightness and contrast are enough, the colors are saturated. In addition, the widescreen display is equipped with LED backlighting, so you can work comfortably even outdoors in sunny weather. The vertical viewing angles are very small, the horizontal ones are good.

I will add that thanks to the built-in Bright Vision system, the display brightness is automatically adjusted depending on the distance to the user and the type of ambient light, which helps to reduce the burden on vision.

The acoustics of the laptop consists of a pair of stereo speakers, which are located above the keyboard block area. The speakers produce sound with a predominance of high frequencies. The volume is sufficient for a relatively small room. In other words, the audio preparation of the laptop deserves a good mark, since it is done with high quality.

On the display frame there is an integrated microphone and a built-in camera with a resolution of 0.3MP. There is enough of it to communicate with friends on Skype.

Touchpad and keyboard

The touchpad is very different from the "under-palm" platform - it supports multitouch gestures and has a sensitive fine-point surface. Using the manipulator, the user can perform vertical scrolling (special marking is provided), scale pages and images.

The buttons are noticeably different from the main area of the touchpad. They work quietly, are completely smooth, and press firmly.

Next to the touchpad is a biometric fingerprint scanner. This is the best option to prevent strangers from seeing confidential information on your laptop.

Lenovo B575 is equipped with a full-size island keyboard, which consists of large concave buttons. Its keys are at an optimal distance from each other, so typing is convenient. As for the numpad and arrow block, here the buttons are slightly smaller, but not so much that discomfort is felt during the printing of content. Otherwise, this is a fairly ergonomic keyboard with labeled buttons. For example, the operation of the keys left a good impression on me.

At the top of the keyboard near the left speaker are 2 buttons: launch OneKey Rescue and turn on the laptop. The first will help restore data in the event of an unexpected system failure. Near the right speaker, you can also see a small group of LEDs: NumLock, Disk Activity LED, and CapsLock.

Technical parameters and operating system

The package includes a dual-core AMD E-350 processor with a frequency of 1.6GHz. There is no third-level cache, and the second is only 1MB. Nevertheless, the central processor copes with a variety of tasks and pleases in performance.

The E-350 APU includes an integrated Radeon HD-6310M graphics card. Like the processor, this graphics core is built on 40nm technology. The capabilities of the HD 6310M video card include: Blu-ray 3D processing using MCV and parallel decoding of a dual-stream video signal. With regard to performance in gaming applications, this is just an opportunity to play toys at minimum and medium options, as well as more modern products with lower resolution (games of the past year, for example, Prince of Persia 4). In general, this card is best used for a number of other graphics tasks.

If we talk about other components of the "filling", then we have 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a 2.5-inch hard drive with a capacity of 320GB, connected via SATA. Winchester will help save data by operating at 5400 rpm.

The B575 is equipped with Windows Seven (32-bit). Its capabilities are somewhat limited, but this will be enough for full-fledged work.

Ports and communications

To connect various devices, a considerable number of interfaces are provided.

On the left, Lenovo B575 has two USB ports and one of them is combined with eSATA, a socket for recharging and two ports for outputting a signal to the display (HDMI, VGA). Also in that place is a small ventilation grill and a Kensington lock hole.

On the right, the laptop also has the necessary ports: 2 headphone and microphone jacks, as well as 1 USB port. Nearby is a built-in DVD Multi Double Layer optical drive, a network port, and a fourth USB port.

To the above, I want to add that the USB Port Locker utility will not allow copying information to a USB drive if the corresponding password is not entered or the fingerprint sensor does not work positively. Although, as unnecessary, such protection can be disabled.

No interfaces were found on the front end. There is a group of LED indicators (directly the operation of the laptop, battery level and activation of wireless networks), a memory card reader and Wi-Fi.

Among the wireless communications, the Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g module is announced.

This laptop is equipped with a 4400mAh lithium-ion battery, which allows the device to work in autonomous mode for about three hours.

Conclusion

Having single-handedly "examined" Lenovo B575, I came to the conclusion that it can be used not only for work, but also for home. In general, the tested model has a good feature set, despite the budget orientation. The package bundle assumes good ergonomics, a considerable number of ports, as well as good multimedia capabilities.

Surely home users or office workers will appreciate this laptop, because by paying a small amount, they will be able to solve everyday tasks: listen to music, watch videos and play something modern at their leisure.
