WHICH SPRAYER IS BETTER - how to choose a sprayer for a garden, cottage and vegetable garden

Which sprayer to choose for the garden and vegetable garden

When you have to process 40 acres, it is better to take a sprayer with a tank of ten liters or more. You will refuel it less often, which means less contact with chemicals. But if the personal plot is, figuratively speaking, meter by meter, you should not buy a device with a large capacity:

  • firstly, you will not fill it to the top.
  • second, the bulky sprayer is not easy to carry.

"Trainee cadet"

For pollination of seedlings, flower beds and low shrubs, a "sprinkler" with a flask of up to five liters is suitable.

By constantly pulling the trigger, you will create the required pressure in the tank. Using the nozzle tip, you can adjust the jet - from powerful flow to fine mist.

"Pros":

  • you will be able to purposefully treat the affected areas on the lower surface of the leaves and in other hard-to-reach places;
  • such a device costs less.

"Minus":

  • refueling is enough for three hundred parts.

"Universal Soldier"

For a vegetable garden, buy a sprayer with a reservoir of up to ten liters or more. It is convenient to carry it on the shoulder or behind the back.

Such devices are often equipped with a side handle, with which you can increase the pressure in the pump flask. Usually the handle is suitable for both left-handers and right-handers.

"Pros":

  • suitable for processing large areas in the open air and in greenhouses;
  • large spray diameter;
  • you can adjust the dispersion of the jet by turning the nozzle.

"Minuses":

  • long work is tiring due to the heavy weight of the apparatus;
  • you have to work with both hands.

When choosing a sprayer, pay attention to the dispersion of the nozzles. They spray in several ways - spray and fog. The finer the spray, the more efficiently the plants are processed. At the same time, the consumption of the drug is significantly reduced: you irrigate up to five acres with six liters of solution.

"Motorized battalion"

Motor-sprayers are convenient for treating large areas of plantations - gardens, vineyards, nurseries.

In these models, the pressure is generated automatically by the motor. They have a large spray diameter - up to several meters and a high, adjustable pressure.

"Pros":

  • no need to manually build up pressure;
  • abundantly irrigates large areas.

"Minuses":

  • high cost compared to other types of sprayers;
  • running on gasoline requires additional costs for fuel and oil;
  • noisy and bulky;
  • a gasoline sprayer is not used for processing indoors - in greenhouses, greenhouses, in winter gardens.

For indoor spraying, buy battery models.

It is more convenient to pour the solution into a wide mouth. To protect the device from debris, the neck should be with a fine mesh.

When working with pesticides, wear a respirator and do not fall under a cloud of spray solution! Work in the direction of the wind or in calm weather.
