- hot glue gun and spare rods for it;

We start to paint. First, cover the entire surface of the stick with the main color. Glue elements can also be painted over.
Leave to dry.
Then we start decorating, painting on small details. Do not worry if the paint looks dull and color transitions are visible - after varnishing the stick will take on a completely different look.
Let the paint dry for a few hours. And then hide with varnish in the fresh air so that no one breathes in what is not needed.

If there are no sushi sticks, the base can be made from a branch of a suitable size. Another option is to make a long cone out of paper and give it hardness by filling it inside with the same hot melt glue. But it is better to protect such a stick from water and not to varnish too hard.
