The world's thinnest laptop Lenovo IdeaPad U300s

At the last IFA 2011, Lenovo made its debut in the ultrabook category with its new brainchild. As the developers say, their new product, which is called the IdeaPad U300s, is ready to compete with such a monster as Apple's MacBook Air. By the way, the new product from Lenovo is still superior to the ultrabook from Apple in several ways.

Essentially, the Lenovo IdeaPad U300s is a redesigned version of the IdeaPad U260s laptop. It has a 13.3-inch screen. The ultrabook is only 0.59 inches thin, which is 14.9 mm, and is the smallest in the world, even thinner than the MacBook Air, which is 0.68 inches thick. With all this, its weight is 1.34 kg.

A novelty from Lenovo is built on the basis of a 2-core 2nd generation processor. It is planned to release it in two versions.

First performance:

Processor - Core i7 2677M (1.8 GHz)

Second execution :

Processor - Core i5 2467M (1.6 GHz)

Both models have the maximum possible amount of RAM - 4 GB, HDD will be up to 256 GB. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules, a 1.3 megapixel camera, USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, HDMI will be installed.

On the battery - the declared duration of work without recharging will be about 8 hours.

The approximate cost of Lenovo IdeaPad U300s is expected to be around $ 1200. The ultrabook will be available in gray or orange.
