The Samsung N8000 Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet was presented at the Mobile World Congress in early 2012. The device had a dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.5 gigahertz and 1 gigabyte of RAM. But it went on sale only closer to autumn. At the same time, the characteristics of the tablet presented earlier have undergone significant changes. Samsung has released a really powerful device that breaks all performance records when it went on sale.

Equipment

The tablet comes with a wired headset, USB cable, charger, stylus and documentation.

Design

Tablet Samsung N8000 Galaxy Note 10.1 is made in the traditional Samsung design: smooth edges, rounded corners, silver plastic edging "metal". Thanks to its signature design, the tablet fits comfortably in your hand. A silver plastic bezel gives the device a sleek look.

Holding the tablet with one hand for a long time (for example, when reading) will not work: the device is heavy and weighs 583 grams.

Samsung N8000 Galaxy Note 10.1 is available in two body colors - white and gray.

The body of the tablet is completely made of glossy plastic. It is worth noting the high-quality assembly of the case and well-fitted parts.

The front panel of the device is covered with Gorilla Glass.

Connectors and controls

The location of the front-facing camera, speakers and company logo indicates that the tablet should be used in a horizontal position.

Most of the front panel of the Galaxy Note 10.1 is occupied by a 10.1-inch screen, above which there is a front camera and a light sensor. There are two speakers on either side of the screen. At the bottom of the front panel is the logo of the manufacturer "SAMSUNG".

The back of the Samsung N8000 Galaxy Note 10.1 houses the main camera and LED flash. At the bottom of the rear panel there is a stylus (pen) slot.

On the top of the device there are a power key and a volume rocker, slots for micro-SD and SIM cards, a standard audio jack and an infrared port. A proprietary interface connector (for charging and connecting to a personal computer) and a microphone hole are placed on the lower end of the tablet.

Stylus

The main difference between the Samsung N8000 Galaxy Note 10.1 and other tablets is the presence of a special underlay on the display, developed by Wacom. Thanks to this proprietary layer, the Galaxy Note 10.1 sensor more accurately perceives the position of the pen, namely, 1024 gradations of pressure.

The stylus (referred to as the S Pen) is shaped like a small square plastic pencil with a fine tip. Its length is 115 millimeters. The stylus has a button with which you can take screenshots.

The S-Pen is firmly fixed in the slot, so the user does not have to worry about the fact that the pen falls out and is lost.
