Overview of burners for gas boilers

Baxi 700 IG

The Baxi 700 IG modulation forced draft gas burner is designed for installation on gas heating boilers of the Geodis series for domestic use. Thanks to the modulation of the flame, the burner operates quietly and with a minimum amount of harmful emissions of combustion products into the atmosphere, which is confirmed by the CE mark "Blue Angel": it practically does not produce CO (less than 5 mg / kW * h), and NOX emissions are two times lower European standards and are less than 35 mg / kW * h.

The burner is equipped with a variator, which, by changing the speed of the air fan, allows the rated power to be reduced by up to 60%. Thus, the power range of the device can be changed from 25 to 42 kW.

The 700 IG is equipped with a pneumatic system to maintain an optimum gas-to-air ratio. Fuel consumption is determined by the need for heating and / or hot water, and a special membrane in the gas valve supplies it depending on the fan speed, which allows maintaining optimal combustion and high efficiency (up to 95%) in all modulation modes. The burner has electronic ignition. To exclude the ingress of gas into the room, an ionization control of the presence of a flame is provided.

The 700 IG burner unit remains operational (does not block or shut down) over a wide enough gas pressure range. For example, at 7.5 mbar at the gas valve inlet, combustion does not deteriorate and power does not drop. Work continues up to 3 mbar. Only if the pressure gets even lower will the burner shut down. This property is especially important for areas where there is a problem of constant pressure drop in the gas pipeline.

Natural gas is used as fuel by default. Switching to liquefied gas is relatively simple - you just need to put one jumper and make a software reset. It is advisable to entrust this to a qualified specialist.

The model has a compact size, modern design and a wide range of accessories.

** Features: ** ionization control of the presence of a flame, gas pressure stabilizer, variable speed fan, complete premixing of gas and air, low noise level, environmental friendliness.

Lamborghini EM 3-E

The Lamborghini lineup includes devices of a wide range of capacities: from single-stage 12-kilowatt to modulating 4.3-megawatt.

The single-stage EM 3-E burner is designed for gas boilers with a heating output of 11.9 to 37.7 kW and is characterized by a high setting accuracy. The required power is set by adjusting the gas valve. The electronic system is responsible for sparking and ignition, which supplies high voltage to the corresponding electrode. The presence of a flame is monitored by a safety system based on an ionization electrode. The gas pressure stabilizer is responsible for stable combustion. The amount of air required for the fuel mixture is supplied by a fan driven by an electric motor. The required air and gas pressures are monitored by special relays. When the burner is switched off, the air damper is closed. The mirrored surface of the burner flame head reduces possible carbon deposits in the working area. The sophisticated design of the EM 3-E model and the possibility of its precise adjustment guarantee low CO and NOX emissions during combustion.

The operation of all burner systems is monitored by a control unit. A short press on the reset button allows you to quickly diagnose malfunctions - they are indicated by light indicators. In this case, the operation of the device is blocked until complete troubleshooting. It should be noted that all burner assemblies are easily accessible for maintenance.

The EM 3-E model is distinguished by its low noise level, compact size, modern shape and low cost. A large number of accessories and additional accessories expand the scope of the burner.

De Dietrich G 100 S

The single-stage gas burner G 100 S has a number of interesting design features. The Duopress pressurization system creates a strong air seal in the burner, thus ensuring stable combustion, practically insensitive to fluctuations in atmospheric pressure. Due to the rapid stabilization of the flame when the burner is turned on, the fuel mixture burns out completely and with minimal emissions of harmful substances. Their level is much lower than the maximum permissible values of the most stringent European standards - for example, emissions of nitrogen oxides NOX are less than 80 mg / kW * h. The burners run on natural gas. Conversion to propane is possible after conversion. A wide operating range (from 16 to 52 kW) allows you to precisely adjust the burner in terms of power, which means to achieve high efficiency and optimal fuel consumption.

A thick volute aluminum air intake and a silicone acoustic decoupling gasket minimize burner operating noise as much as possible.

The burner is very convenient to maintain - all operations are performed with a single universal wrench, which is suitable for both mounting and dismounting the burner casing and head, and unscrewing self-closing screws. During maintenance, the burner is turned vertically, and all the components of the device, including the ignition head and the ignition electrode, become accessible. The burner unit is equipped with a sliding flange for connection to the boiler and standard Euro plugs for quick and error-free electrical connections. The developers have even provided a carrying handle.

The burners are fully tested at the factory under realistic conditions and presettings.

However, the control unit allows you to adjust the amount of gas supplied (1.4, 1.8, 2.4, 2.9 or 3.6 m3 / h), depending on which the burner will produce from 10.8 to 36 kW of thermal energy. The precision mixing device guarantees optimum combustion parameters for the air-fuel mixture. The air is supplied by a high-performance fan with an electric motor powered from a 230 V (50 Hz) network. A special sensor monitors the air pressure. Ignition of the fuel mixture occurs at the signal of the transformer due to the formation of a spark by the combined electrode, which also performs the function of ionization control of the flame.

The RG-1 Na burner is universal - it can work with both natural and liquefied gas. For the latter, some readjustments will be required, which it is better to entrust to a specialist.

The burner mount is unified, so it is suitable for almost any heating boiler and other industrial equipment. For ease of installation, the RG series burners are supplied complete with a gas train. All fittings have connecting branches and threaded connections. The burner tube can be installed in the combustion chamber to the required depth. Moreover, installation in both horizontal and vertical positions is permissible.

Separately, it should be said about the design. The burner is round in shape, all internal parts are easily accessible for maintenance. To revise the device, you will need to remove the casing, which, by the way, also performs the functions of noise insulation.

Each Giersch burner is tested in operation at the factory - they monitor the formation of a flame and are pre-set to low power. Thus, the high quality of the finished product is ensured.

Roca Crono 4G

The Crono 4G is a pressurized single stage burner designed to work in tandem with a boiler or process line. The device operates in a power range from 16 to 52 kW.

An interesting feature of this model is the function of automatic purging of the combustion chamber before firing up. At the same time, all excess gases (for example, combustion products remaining from previous work) are removed from the furnace and optimal proportions of the gas-air fuel mixture are created for a new start. As a result, the burner starts up stably, without popping. The design of the mixing device guarantees an optimal ratio of fuel and air and subsequent complete combustion of the gas-air mixture.

The presence of a flame is monitored by an ionization electrode. If for any reason the flame goes out, it gives a signal to the gas solenoid valve and the gas supply to the burner is stopped. The control unit has an indication of operating errors.

The design of the burner and the control system ensure high efficiency and low level of CO and NOX emissions in accordance with the European standards EN 267, which is confirmed by the corresponding certificates. The forced draft burner works stably even with a water column reduced to 57 mm. (about 5.5 mbar) gas pressure. This is especially important in areas where its main pressure fluctuates. The maximum permissible value is 360 mbar.

The gas burner runs on natural gas. The corresponding supply line is connected directly to the top of the head of the device. With certain service settings and the installation of the appropriate injectors, the Crono 4G can be converted to propane. The model is fully equipped for installation on a boiler. In addition to the gas train, a single mounting kit includes bolts and nuts to secure the device to the heat generating unit. An adjustable flange with a special seal makes it much easier to connect the head to the boiler combustion chamber. By the way, the head unit itself can be removed without dismantling the entire burner, which is very convenient when performing regular maintenance. Switch between the boiler and the burner using a 7-pin connector. Reliable and safe electrical connectors will prevent the circuit from opening during operation. The burner is powered by a conventional single-phase 230 V (50 Hz) network.

MHG GE 1H

The GE 1H forced draft gas burner is designed for combustion of natural and liquefied gas in conventional boilers for heating residential and industrial premises. The power of the device is regulated in the range from 13 to 40 kW. The body is made of light alloy. Fuel preparation in the required proportion of gas and air takes place in a mixing system. For this purpose, the fan blows the air through an adjustable air intake with an air damper. Its impeller is driven by an electric motor (220 V, 50 Hz). The ignition is controlled by an automatic ignition with an ionization electrode, which is powered from an ignition transformer. The burner operation is monitored by a control unit (combustion manager). In addition, the manufacturer strongly recommends installing an additional tightness control system.

Installation of GE 1H on the boiler is simplified thanks to the mounting flange with connecting bolts. No leakage is ensured by a special gasket. The gas fittings built into the burner cover significantly save the time of connecting to the gas pipeline through the fuel hoses. Electrical connection is made with a special multi-pin plug.

The high quality of the burner is guaranteed by the fact that at least two thirds of its components are supplied by German manufacturers. Moreover, all burners, regardless of class, type and power, leave the shop only after intensive thermal tests and preliminary adjustments.

Do not operate the models outdoors or in rooms with high humidity. It is permissible to use in non-standard conditions: roasting ovens, dryers, condensing boilers, however, the details of operation will have to be coordinated with the company representatives.

The spark for ignition of the gas is supplied by the signal of the electronic ignition transformer. A special relay monitors the air pressure. The fuel flow regulator can be set to the maximum value or closed altogether (that is, the burner is off).

A pressed light alloy casing is responsible for safe operation and preservation of settings. It is easy to remove and has excellent noise-insulating properties, and also prevents the opening of electrical contacts. By the way, plug connections are used to connect all electrical parts in the burner, their design excludes switching errors. The burner is connected to the mains using an all-pole switch.

High performance of the burner is provided by two systems. The RHP system is responsible for efficient air circulation and provides fast stabilization of combustion after starting, quiet operation and reduced sensitivity to vibrations in the chimney. In addition, it creates a constantly high pressure in the combustion chamber, which is favorable for the combustion of the fuel mixture. The MDE operating data storage system contains two types of information: instantaneous (burner start cycle, power supply, flame signal) and stored (operating statistics, operating conditions). All data are available in real time and are very useful for operational diagnostics of the state of components and mechanisms, which facilitates service and maintenance of the device.

The burner is mounted on the front of the boiler using a special aluminum flange. The design of its body provides full access to the air supply system, components in the combustion zone and various electrical and mechanical parts.
