- plasma panel - up to 100,000 hours,
- LCD - up to 60,000 hours,
- LED - up to 30,000 hours,
- OLED - up to 17,000 hours.
However, the image quality of the LCD and LED backlight deteriorates over the years, because the service life of the phosphor diodes is 30,000-40,000 hours.
Plasma also has its disadvantages over LCD:
- energy consumption is 3-4 times higher,
- lower resolution of the screen matrix.
